- Risk Management & Integrity: Monitoring betting patterns to identify syndicated betting, match-fixing, or abuse of promotional offers. We actively share suspicious betting data with sports governing bodies (e.g., NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL) and independent integrity monitors.
- Marketing & Personalization: Delivering targeted advertisements, personalized odds boosts, and promotional materials based on your betting history and preferences, subject to your communication preferences and local laws.
- Responsible Gaming: Tracking user behavior to identify signs of problem gambling. If you enroll in a self-exclusion program, we use your data to block your access to our platform and share this status with state gaming commissions as required by law.
4. Disclosure to Third Parties
We do not sell your personal information to data brokers for monetary compensation. However, we do share data extensively within the bounds of the law to operate our sportsbook:
A. Affiliates and Joint Ventures: We share data with our parent companies (MGM Resorts International and Entain plc) to integrate rewards programs (e.g., MGM Rewards) and streamline operations.
B. C. Service Providers: We employ third-party vendors for cloud hosting (e.g., AWS), geolocation (e.g., GeoComply), identity verification (e.g., LexisNexis, Socure), payment processing, and customer support. These vendors are bound by strict Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
5. Data Retention & Security
We employ enterprise-grade security protocols, including AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. We utilize Web Application Firewalls (WAF), continuous intrusion detection systems, and regular third-party penetration testing. Despite these measures, no system is entirely infallible.
Regarding retention, due to the highly regulated nature of our industry, we are legally required by state gaming commissions and financial regulators to retain your PII, transaction history, and wager logs for a minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years after you close your account. You cannot request total deletion of your data if it conflicts with our statutory retention obligations.

1. Binding Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding contract between you ("User", "Player", or "You") and BETMGM, LLC ("BetMGM", "we", or "us"). By clicking "I Agree", registering an account, depositing funds, or placing a wager, you acknowledge that you have read, completely understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our House Rules, and all applicable state and federal laws. If you do not agree to every provision herein, you must exit the application immediately.
2. Strict Eligibility & Verification
To establish an account and place wagers, you must satisfy all of the following conditions continuously:
- Age Requirement: You must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age. Underage gambling is a criminal offense and will be reported to law enforcement.
- Physical Location: You must be physically present within the geographic boundaries of a U.S. State or jurisdiction where BetMGM is licensed and authorized to operate. You agree to allow our software to monitor your location. The use of VPNs, proxies, remote desktops, or any software designed to spoof or mask your true location is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of all funds.
- Excluded Persons: You cannot be on any state or federal self-exclusion list, involuntary exclusion list, or watch list. You cannot be an athlete, coach, referee, owner, or employee of a sports governing body participating in events on which you are wagering.
- Identity Verification: You must provide truthful, accurate, and complete information. BetMGM reserves the right to request notarized identification documents, utility bills, or bank statements at any time. Failure to comply will result in account suspension.
3. Account Security & Multi-Accounting
You are permitted to open and operate exactly ONE (1) BetMGM account. The creation of multiple accounts utilizing different email addresses, variations of your name, or synthetic identities is considered fraud. If discovered, all associated accounts will be permanently closed, and all active wagers and balances will be voided and forfeited.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, including passwords and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) codes. BetMGM is not liable for any unauthorized access to your account, unauthorized wagers, or unauthorized withdrawals resulting from your failure to secure your credentials or device.
4. Deposits, Withdrawals, and Dormancy
Deposits: All funds deposited must be legally obtained and originate from an account where you are the named account holder. Third-party deposits (e.g., using a spouse's or friend's credit card) are expressly forbidden and will trigger an AML review.
Withdrawals: We strive to process withdrawals promptly; however, BetMGM reserves the right to delay the processing of any withdrawal request for up to five (5) business days to conduct security, fraud, and gameplay audits. Withdrawals will generally be paid back to the method used for the initial deposit.
Dormant Accounts: If you do not log in to your account for a period of twelve (12) consecutive months, your account will be classified as "Dormant." We reserve the right to assess a monthly dormancy maintenance fee (e.g., $5.00 per month) deducted from your cash balance, up to the maximum permitted by applicable state law. If the account remains dormant and the balance reaches zero, the account will be closed. Any remaining funds after statutory periods may be escheated to the state as unclaimed property.
5. Placement, Settlement, and Voiding of Wagers
All wagers are subject to the BetMGM House Rules, which are incorporated herein by reference. A wager is not valid until it is confirmed and a receipt/ticket number is generated by our servers.
- Finality: Once a wager is confirmed by the system, it cannot be canceled, amended, or revoked by the User under any circumstances.
- Palpable Errors (Obvious Errors): BetMGM endeavors to ensure total accuracy in odds and lines. However, human or system errors may occur. A "Palpable Error" is an obvious mistake in the odds, line, handicap, or event details (e.g., offering +1000 odds on an event that should clearly be -1000, or offering lines on a game that has already concluded). BetMGM reserves the absolute right to correct any Palpable Error and either settle the wager at the correct market odds at the time of placement, or unilaterally void the wager entirely and refund the stake.
- Integrity Voiding: We reserve the right to void any wager, withhold payment, and suspend accounts if we possess reasonable suspicion that an event has been subjected to match-fixing, manipulation, or if the wager was placed utilizing inside information.
6. Promotional Abuse & Bonus Funds
Bonus Bets, Risk-Free Tokens, Deposit Matches, and Odds Boosts ("Promotions") are provided at the sole discretion of BetMGM. Bonus funds have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn directly. All Promotions are subject to specific rollover/playthrough requirements. If BetMGM determines, in its sole discretion, that a user is engaging in promotional abuse (e.g., hedging bets across different sportsbooks to guarantee a risk-free profit from a bonus, utilizing arbitrage strategies, or exploiting software loopholes), we reserve the right to revoke all bonuses, confiscate winnings derived from bonuses, and ban the user from future promotions.
7. Dispute Resolution & Binding Arbitration
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY AS IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
Any claim, dispute, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, your use of the Services, or the settlement of any wager shall be resolved exclusively by binding, individual arbitration, rather than in court. You and BetMGM mutually agree to waive the right to a trial by jury.
Class Action Waiver: You agree that you may bring claims against BetMGM only in your individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims into a single proceeding.
8. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BETMGM, ITS PARENT COMPANIES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR VENDORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF DISPUTED WAGERS PLACED BY YOU, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BetMGM from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from your violation of any term of these Terms or your violation of any third-party right or law.
9. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable by a court or arbitrator of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and BetMGM.
